Stay with me and I promise you won’t get bored. First of all, the Violet Ladies Movement is not just an organization, it is first a Family. This is a home where you will never feel like you don’t belong. VLM creates an environment of belongingness, where you don’t feel left out. Everyone is made to feel like a part of the family. Here at VLM, we listen to each other, we impact each other and we grow each other. VLM is a family where love resides.

VLM for me also represents a ‘Safe space’. What I mean by this is that here at VLM, you get to be yourself without judgment. We don’t criticize one another therefore, there is never the need for pretense. My ideas are appreciated and welcomed. I can be my authentic self without argument, without any shame.

VLM makes room for the experienced to invest in the younger ones. To the young lady who feels like you lack the knowledge and experience and resources you need to start something of your own, here at VLM, we intend to offer insightful vision and creative networking chances that bridge differences and enable people to conquer obstacles. To the older and more experienced women we can assure you that you are the motivation someone needs to keep on running their race.
